VPME 9.1.12a Upgrade Released!

Free for ProMatrix Partners: In keeping with our commitment to provide frequent VPM Enterprise upgrades to ProMatrix Partners free of charge, the ProMatrix Corporation is pleased to announce that VPM Enterprise 9.1.12a was released on September 21, 2007.

VPME 9.1.12 a Enhancements

VPME 9.1.12a builds on VPME 9.1.12 to incorporate fixes, a new VPME 9.1 Tutorial and VPME 9.1 Tutorial Project files. VPME 9.1.12 included many major enhancements, which are described below.
VPME 9.1.12 Major Enhancements: VPM Enterprise 9.1.12 provides many major enhancements, including:
  • Form Security - VPME has long had a professional Security system (User Access, Menu, Controls and Field Security). VPME now includes Form Security. You can now prevent a user from accessing specific forms no matter where the form might be run.
  • Required Fields - Required fields on a form are now identified for users by a colored background. You can change the background color or turn the feature off.
  • "Show This Form" - You can now easily add a "Show This Form" checkbox to a form just like the checkbox included on the Welcome Form and Tip Of The Day Form. Unchecking the checkbox prevents the form from appearing again.
  • Persistent Indexes - Application users can now select an index on the Order form and have that index used every time the form is run.
  • Treeview Menus - VPME now provides support for non-VFP menu systems, such as treeview and Outlook-style menus.
  • One-To-Many Form Parent Page Grid - You can now display parent records in a grid on the first parent page of an OTM Form.
VPME 9.1.12 Changes & Enhancements - Full List: You will find a full list of the VPME 9.1.12 enhancements, changes and fixes on the VPME 9.1.12 Changes and Enhancements Details Page:

Plus with a subscription you get all the other benefits of ProMatrix Partners Coverage -- including technical support directly from the principal VPME developer, Steve Smith, and participation in VPME betas.
To learn more about the benefits of ProMatrix Partners Coverage and to place an order, visit the ProMatrix Partners Page on the ProMatrix Web.
