What is the Data Builder?
The VPM Enterprise Data Builder is a fully-active application data dictionary that VPM Enterprise provides for every VPME application you create.
· Application Data Dictionary: The Data Builder is an application data dictionary because it is a catalog of all the information about all the data in an application. It contains metadata, which is data about an application’s data.
· Fully-Active: The Data Builder is fully-active because it is more than just a repository of data information. When an application runs, the Data Builder actively provides information about data to the application.
